We are excited to welcome our two new "cubers". Welcome to the Roundedcube headquarters, Shawn and congratulations on being the newest Houston team member, Christy!
Shawn was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and has been working on the Web since 1999. After attending DeVry University in Kansas City, MO in the mid-nineties for Business Management, he fell in love with all things Internet. Shawn is an artistic person who enjoys turning a concept into a clickable work of art. He is well versed in graphic design and puts a strong emphasis on UI enhancements, which better powers the end user experience for his clients. Having previously worked for Network Solutions in both e-commerce sales/project management and web design/fulfillment roles, he uses his 15 years of experience to meet his customer expectations, always striving to improve the ROI of every project.
He is a father of two boys, Shawn Jr and Oliver, and is married to his gracious wife of 10+ years, Rachel. After moving to Tampa, Florida in 2012, he has returned because of his love for the St. Louis Cardinals, vowing to never again live in an American League city. Aside from the Internet, his other passion is the culinary world. He loves to watch people enjoy his food, putting a smile on their face is his sole motivation for cooking. His goal for retirement is to run a quaint bed and breakfast with his wife somewhere in the country out on the west coast.
His motto is: "I will do today what no one wants to do, so I can do tomorrow what they cannot afford."
Christy, a Texas native, is currently working in our Houston office. She has nine years of project management experience and has worked with a broad range of clients. Some of the clients she has worked with include the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and the National Institute of Health. Christy's combined project management experience and technical knowledge have allowed her to develop trusted client relationships and deliver quality projects.
In her free time, Christy enjoys spending time on the water, traveling and volunteering with dog rescue organizations.
