Roundedcube is constantly growing and providing opportunities for students coming into the workforce, including two summer internship positions. We would like to welcome Keslie and Matt to the St. Louis headquarters.
User Experience Intern
I am a story-teller, born and raised in Neosho, Missouri, a small town 30 minutes south of Joplin. My philosophy is that we always have room to improve in some aspect of our lives. When I was nine, I began to teach myself how to code basic HTML. I use to play games online and I was so jealous of the older kids that were able to create their own profiles and pages. It was the same determination and desire for learning that led me to being overly involved throughout school. Outside of school, I was helping my self-employed parents, which included any array of work from preparing poultry houses to bottling drinking water. They weren't the easiest or fanciest jobs, but seeing my parents work so hard taught me to be passionate about my work.
I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with an Applied Advertising Degree. During college, my value of personal growth was strengthened through the sorority, Sigma Kappa, and I became involved with philanthropy, including the Alzheimer’s Association. If the last four years has taught me anything, it's that the best experiences happen away from my small town of Neosho. I've traveled coast to coast; from discovering my passion for Marketing in New York, to interning as a copywriter in California. Now, I am beyond excited to begin my next adventure as a User Experience intern at Roundedcube.
Web Design Intern
I was born and raised in Fenton, Missouri. I recently graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis with a Graphic Design degree. I am a well-rounded designer with experience in print, motion, and web but my passion is specifically user experience design. When I’m not designing, you can find me doing a wide variety of things. I enjoy being outside and staying active, whether it’s playing roller hockey, tennis, or bike riding. Music is a big part of my life as well. I try to attend as many live shows as possible and I play the drums and guitar. On the weekends, you can find me at the dirt track, driving around in circles. I definitely keep myself occupied at all times. As a UX Design Intern here at Roundedcube, I hope to gain real-world experience and continue to improve my design skills.
