Inaugural St. Louis Sitecore User Group a Success

We just wrapped up our first official meeting of the St. Louis Sitecore User Group and I couldn't be more pleased with the member turn-out, engaging conversations, and panelist insights! The "What's New in Sitecore 8" topic served as an appropriate launchpad for the group as we were able to touch on points of interest for Sitecore veterans and rookies alike as well as cover the spectrum from Content Manager to Digital Marketer to Developer. And thank you to our friends at Fpweb.net for co-organizing the group!

Jason Sindel kicked things off with an overview of the new UI, new features - and also the new names and locations of familiar features. Next, Erin Funk led us through the significant experience marketing enhancements. Benjamin Vidal and Gilbert Blocker rounded things out by giving us a more detailed explanation of two new concepts in Sitecore 8 - List Manager and Versioned Layouts.
