The Client

Aegion Corporation is the parent company for Insituform, Bayou, Brinderson, Corrpro, CRTS, Fibrwrap, Fyfe and United Pipeline Systems. Aegion's companies are global leaders in infrastructure protection and provide proprietary technologies and services for the corrosion protection of industrial pipelines and for rehabilitating and strengthening sewer, water, energy and mining piping systems, buildings, bridges and tunnels and waterfront structures.

The Challenges

Aegion is the newly formed parent company and needed a complete redesign due to the acquisition of multiple companies. In addition, they needed a single easy-to-manage platform to consolidate the various processes of the individual companies.

The Solutions

Roundedcube implemented a single instance of Sitecore CMS that manages the Aegion corporate website, aegion.com and individual subsidiary websites. The system has also been architected to include planned country websites, a secured customer extranet and employee intranet. The new web presence replaces the previous corporate website and consolidates all of the subsidiary websites into one system.

The Results

The new corporate website, serves as the central access point for corporate, investor and career information, and will also provide secure access to a new product catalog and ordering system. Aegion is also utilizing Sitecore’s Online Marketing Suite to monitor visitor behavior and have the business intelligence necessary to make relevant optimizations in the future.
