The Hillshire Brands Foundation is dedicated to supporting the communities in which the Hillshire Brands Company has operations by making financial contributions to organizations that alleviate hunger, support healthy weight and provide important innovative civic and cultural projects.
The Challenges
Following the rebranding of Sara Lee Corporation as Hillshire Brands, the Foundation needed a new web presence up and running quickly. This new website, hillshirebrandsfoundation.org, also needed to be mobile-optimized, work within a multi-site Sitecore implementation, and set the stage for future additions and enhancements.
The Solutions
Roundedcube completed the design and development of the responsive website in less than a month. By streamlining the design process and creating a content architecture that was concise, flexible and also leveraged our previous Sitecore development assets, Hillshire Brands Foundation was able to spend less time worrying about web development and more time worrying about their mission statement.
The Results
With the project goals focused on time-to-market and a simple, clean responsive design, content takes center stage on any device. Although the website is small now, the flexible design and architecture has empowered Hillshire Brands to expand content and functionality to support the foundation’s growth.
